Quercus Frainetto - Acrylic + w/c on paper

When I began this painting, I did not know the name of this leaf / tree but it comes from the Macedonian Oak tree. I had seen a colour pencil drawing by someone and decided that it would look good in watercolour. I needed to add acrylic and varnish because leaves have many varied mottled effects on
